ParticipantWe lost russ libby to cancer this Sunday. Russell had been head of mofga for the past 20 years or so. Worked endlessly on food safety bills going before congress, softening the language and protecting the small farmer, as well as guaranteeing consumers rights to home grown food. He was a constant advocate for forest and farmland stewardship. And a good friend. To all. Kind and Quiet, soft spoken and humble, real good at what he did. He liked draft horses. A very good man, who will be missed by those he knew and missed by people he didn’t know. Great guy.

ParticipantMitch,
I read that online somewhere about Russ. A real advocate for the small farmer and important issues that he belived strongly in.
Sorry to hear about his passing.
