InactiveHi all-does anyone out there have experience with using used veggie oil as bar lube? I noticed Jason mentioned using new veggie oil, and felt like a sucker for paying the crazy price for stihl bio-oil-about $5-6/L. I have a friend who runs his old Jetta on used oil from Arby’s, and I wondered if I could use this stuff in my chainsaw-it would be free, and is destined for the landfill anyway. I could always filter it if it was too full of old french fries.
Thanks for all the interesting threads, I have been reading through all the archived conversations-very interesting, and helpful for a newbie like me.March 18, 2009 at 3:38 pm #51033dominiquer60
