ParticipantI have started to do a radio show on our local community radio station that I call “The New Farm Revolution” that is a hodge-podge of music BUT interspersed with stuff I can find that is relevant to small farming/ag (NAIS, seed saving, grain CSA’s, local opportunities/workshops ……). Anyway, as I was looking for some “different” perspectives on grazing I ran across a publication called Grazer (I think – I’m still looking for my link:o) with an article about a dairyman (Art Thicke) in Minnesota who has adopted an interesting philosophy regarding grazing his cow herd.
I know there are lots of ways to do things but it’s always stimulating to read stuff that flies in the face of conventional wisdom. Here’s the link – I found it 🙂
