    George was kind enough to host an introduction to draft horse workshop along with NOFA VT and DAPNet today in East Fairfield, VT.

    He shared the Does’ Leap Goat Dairy operation with several prospective teamsters and provided a demonstration of working a team of horses. He also covered grazing techniques, logging with horses and equipment they use on the farm.
    The weather cooperated and we had a great workshop. We had a chance to promote DAPNet and distributed some brochures and summer newsletters. I hope we inspired some new members.
