ParticipantI plan on having my horses working in the woods this spring and summer.
Anyone have experience or thoughts on using “Permethrin” on your horses and on yourself.
I see items being sold for people that has permethrin used on clothing.
I am looking for any recommendations or suggestions.Ticks are worse this year than I have ever seen.

ParticipantWe have a flock of wild turkeys which seem to control the ticks, flies, mosquitoes etc.in check for the past several years . I know this will be a bad year for insects due to the mild winter. So far, frontline, for cats & dogs, ivomectic pour on, for cattle has worked.
I have not found any on humans, so far this year. I usually spay us with off or some other similar product with deet. - AuthorPosts
