does anyone use or know something about an ox yoke for three animals? where can i get some information about it?

ParticipantI think this is mainly a novelty thing for show. While a three abreast team obviously has more power than two, the inconvenience of yoking, hitching, and driving three I think would outweight the advantage. Two teams would be easier if you need more power.

ParticipantI have seen a video of an ox drover in France who uses a head yoke, which is made for three animals. He uses it to get an grown up (2 years old) but novice animal used to work in a yoke. He places the new animal in the middle position, right between his old pair of oxen.
