ParticipantI have a three week old calf that I am currently training yes only one. What I do need is a single yoke now I don’t have time to make one so I want to purchase one. I am guessing a 6 inch now my first question is how long will a holsteing calf fit a 6 inch before or if he outgrows it. Also whom should I purchase this single yoke and bow from? May even be interested in a harness if someone knows who would make an ox harness I imagine they aren’t in real high demand.

ParticipantYour calf should wear a 6 inch yoke for quite a while. BUT I think you want a 5 inch to start with. I make and sell both the single yoke and the britchen.

ParticipantHow much do you charge for these.

ParticipantMy calf is 9 months old and his 6 inch yoke is still a little bit big for him. So in my novice opinion, you want something smaller perhaps? Yay for Holstein singles.
