ParticipantI have a new Canadian Chunk that I am driving with my forecart. He is fantastic!
My husband could care less about the horses and is a bit jealous of the time I spend with them. Yesterday he was out trying to pack down a cross country ski trail with his snow shoes. I told him that there should be a way that I can do that with my horse.
Does anybody know where I might find a snow roller that I could use with my forecart and a single horse? There must be something around that I could use. Or even plans that I could use to get one made?
This just may be the way I can get him out to the barn!
Thanks,

ParticipantYou might try a lawn roller made for a lawn tractor if the snow isn’t too deep.

ParticipantHow about a wrapped round bale skidded on its bottom. Or better might be rolled by putting a pipe or crow bar throught the center and connecting the ends with straps or chains, The bale would be the roller. I just built a rig based on anouther post that would work good for this application.
