Retired Belgian mare free to a great home

Sterling College is looking for a great home for one of our retired Belgian mares; Brandi is roughly 24, great pasture/barn buddy, can still manage light work such as driving, light garden work, firewood skidding, etc….good teeth, easy keeper, some geriatric health problems that are easily and affordably managed, reasonable bare feet (has been used with my Farrier Science class with very green farrier students) although I kept her shod during her working days. Brandi needs some love and attention, with six working horses on the farm she is often left behind in the pasture–we use her for introductory work with students but the students move on to the working teams within a few weeks.
