ParticipantHas anybody experience with John Plowden’s single horse arch using with the forwarding trailer or with any other trailer / trailed implements? I’m looking for wagon for rough ground and tight spots, where the farm wagon can’t go.
I’m pretty certain that the arch with a ATV walking beam trailer excels on rough ground, but how is the performance on smooth ground specially at a trot? Does it track well or or is it zick-zaging all over the place due to the flexibility of the design?December 29, 2016 at 10:10 pm #89868NTrout
ParticipantI saw one of John’s arches in use at MOFGA in some
tough terrain and it seemed to work really well. The gelding hooked to it comfortable through the stumps,
Down a slope to landing for a few days. The trailer wasn’t in use that time, but the design is pretty slick. I know John will modify to suit and talk with you. He has a nice, simple team arch design as Well which I
Have used. - AuthorPosts
