    Well finally got clearance from the DR. to hitch horses again. So I hitched up the Haflingers to the mower and then guess what the drive gear went on my JD#3 splitting the case and everything.

    So now I am looking for a mower that has a 5 foot bar and is pretty much field ready. Until I find one I am mowing with the tractor:( A Tongue truck would be nice but not a necessity just a good running mower is the main thing.

    Thanks I will give Bailey’s a try.

    Come to find out it is the drive clutch gear that went. I may also call Mcnairs on tuesday to see if I can get the parts to fix this one as a backup machine.
