    It is official I am crossing the country to attend the DAPFD this month. I have a plane ticket and sent in my registration. I am looking forward to meeting some of the names I see on the forum and put a face to the name. I am excited to see some animals and I am sure that I will learn so much with a jam packed schedule for the weekend. It will be hard to leave the farm here but luckily we have a great crew to take care of all the critters. It has also been awhile since I have been on a plane. I can’t wait till the 24th.

    Thank goodness for great crews! If I can get my great crew together, I will try to make it back for Sat and Sun so I can hang out with the West Coasters that are starting to flock this way (Washington State and Alaska). I am looking forward to meeting you and many other new faces in a few weeks, safe travels!
