JD Mower and Dump Rake in Barnard VT

Walt Barker of Barnard Vt has an old JD #3 mower for sale. It has been under the barn for years, while parked on the hedgerow before that. There is no pitman, no knives, the grass board plate is damaged from a brush-hog, but the cutter bar is intact, the gears engage, and steel wheels move.

He also has a dump rake that is in good condition.

Neither implement has a pole, nor any hitching hardware.

Please, please what would you/he consider a reasonable offer?
our rake just bit the dust and I’d love a dump rake. I’ve also been looking for a mower, but they nearly all went to the scrap yard when steel price was up.
Where is Barnard? You may just have made my decision to go to NE power days instead of Rhinebeck.
