Shepherd
ParticipantHello to everyone on the forum my name is Harold West (Shepherd )on the forum. I live in north eastern Tn. Huntsville, Tn. My wife and myself have a small farm. We raise a few sheep, and have 2 draft horses, one is a 9 yr old belgian mare that I raised from a colt the other is a belgian percheron gelding. He is real old at least 27 yrs old . I am in the process of converting my equipment to single horse. I fell that the need does not justify the up keep for 2 large horses. Enjoy the forum very much.

ParticipantWelcome to the forum. I would like to see pictures of the horses. I have heard that the Belgian/Percheron cross is a great one.

ParticipantGood idea to go with a single if you don’t really need a team. Keep using your head and make good choices and you’ll succeed.
