ParticipantI’m currently looking at the tractor vs draft horse decision, and contemplating that a little of both might be in my future. The walking plow is obviously a walk-behind implement, and anything requiring a pto is obviously a tractor-only implement, but are there implements that will work well with either a single point tractor hitch or a draft team?

Participantlook for ground drive or engine run options if you want to have interchangeable implements. I would size most of your equipment to be run with a 20 to 30 hp tractor that would often translate into an acceptable load for two full sized drafts in good condition. I am only speeking from personal experiance on this and there for what works for me may not be right in all situations.
