ParticipantI finished the disc today. Used it for the first time with Oz to work in the winter rye we planted last fall. I hope to hitch to the team this weekend. The 6′ disk is a bit much for a single horse with the disc in an aggressive setting.

ParticipantI really like the crazy-wheel up front – does it help a lot?

ParticipantThe disc had a dolly wheel on it originally but was missing when I pulled it from the bushes or should I say Poisen Ivy , but that is a story for another time.
I purchased a 12” caster wheel and welded it to an axle, then welded together a front hitch that would allow me to change the angle of draft.
The disc is very maneuverable with the front wheel arrangement. I can easily pull with a single or the team hitch and not have to mess with a pole.
