ModeratorI was contacted by a forestry consultant looking for a horse logger to work this summer 2017 in Stowe, VT. Terrain is good with a short, skid. The logger would cut and land ~75 cords. They usually are paying on the cord, but could also discuss other payment structure. Tools to sort, pile wood is helpful; tractor with grapple/forks, excavator…etc. Landowner will likely keep the wood for private use.
There is plenty of outdoor space for horses if they need to be left overnight.
Please contact me with serious interest, and I can share the contact info.
Thank you, Carl
