    I live in Wisconsin and the majority of the trees on my property are Black, Green amd White Ash. Ash Bore is not hear yet but it is coming. My question is what should I plant, I planted a few hundred swamp white oak. I would like to be as pro active as I can. Most of my 40 acre woods is black ash and aspen and pretty wet I would like to make logging trails and plant some trees but need a real plan. Any help is appreciated. Eli

    Talk to your State DNR or State Forest Service. They will usually have all kinds of free literature on the best regional species for out planting.
