ParticipantIm not too sure what you would move forward ?? if you move the hook forward you have to lengthen the pole… the 34″ height ? I take it you mean at the neck yoke ? It doesnt really matter.. within reason.. how high the pole is at the rear.. I might be wrong here but i think the further you move the point of hitching forward from the point the choker chain is on the arch , you will get less and not more lifting effect ??? ParticipantHow long of a pole would this arch take? Or does that depend on the team because of size… also with the neck yoke how long would you want them normally. My team is 17.2 18hh if that helps you with size

Participantthe arch plan that jason uses is tried and proven. built it as shown it works fine.this is from a satisfied owner.
