    I pulled my old crankshaft oil seal (pitman end) and went to replace it with what I received from MackNair’s but it looks like the seal(s) from Mack are much thinner than the old one. Am I supposed to use 2 or will one do the job? The old one looks to be a pretty substantial piece.

    I have only done this job twice (on 2 different mowers) and I used 2 seals both times. So far so good.
