ParticipantWell Thursday I plowed the garden (with the tractor, don’t have a working walking plow yet) and got it turned over well and was going to disc it today, but today was the first time in about a month or so I had harnessed up samson and it didn’t go well lol. He was being horribly stubborn and wouldn’t stand when I stopped him, he kept trying to turn towards me and walk towards the barn. So I tried walking him around the left hill and the little pasture at the bottom of it to try and get him back used to it all again. It didn’t really work lol. I looked over his harness a few times to make sure nothing was bothering him and checked his bridle too. I guess its where I hadn’t had him out in a while. I’m gonna hook him up as much as possible this week to get him back so hopefully I can disc it successfully. Any thoughts other than my lack of using him for a while? Next weekend should be better. Even tho I didn’t get the garden disced I guess him being harnessed and drove helped.
