ParticipantHello every one my name is Taylor Johnson and I live near Hayward WI. I am a fifth generation logger and have been logging sence I was a child. I have been doing the low impact logging for about 6 years exclusively. I have Belgians and one fjiord horse I use to have mule but got away from them because the last few I looked to buy were sold at outragis prices. I just happend across this site last night and I look forward to reading and learning . I love logging with the horses and am getting interested in useing them to do a little farming. I do have a web site if any one is interested in visiting it is muleskinnerhoreslogging.com . Once again I am glad to be here and look forward to learning. Taylor Johnson

Participantwould be interested to hear how you like the fjord horse. i don’t have fjords myself, but have been to norway several times, in fact it was on a farm in western norway that i first worked with draft horses. draft HORSE, actually, they only had the one.
