ParticipantThe barn is coming right along. I had help setting the long 6×6 (pole barn) poles. I hired two friends, young guys that had never built a barn before. From there I have pretty much been on my own. Working on my days off. Usually one of my days off. I am working on the second story of the barn now. I have two walls up. i have texted my son in law to see if he wants to work tomorrow on the barn. I should be finnished with that part of the walls tomorrow.then I will be starting on the rafters of that section. I have found that the best way to get something done is to bite off small bites. Somday you will have the finnished project. Good luck to others out there trying to get-ur-done!

ParticipantThe son in law didnt show up. But I did work on the barn. Rule 1. Be prepared to work alone. I called the horse shoe’r today. this is the first time that I have had the donkeys feet trimmed. He did fine. $35. dollars please. The farier said his feet looked good. That was welcome news.
