ParticipantPhotos! Remember, without photos it’s just a story!!
Good deal for you. When you get the points scoured, remember to coat them with grease for next season. Sometimes cultivators are hard to scour…..Mike Rock
ParticipantYup, for that price you are good to go!

ParticipantIf you are anywhere near Mt. Vernon, MO, there is a good man there. Let me know.

ParticipantAround here, in southwest Wisconsin, I get them for from $125 to $350. Latest two were JD’s, good tongues, for $250 each. Good shape!

ParticipantThanks Bill,
I thought they were well designed pieces of equipment as well. Wish I lived closer…..freight is a killer.Mike

ParticipantWhy are you selling? Anything you don’t like about the Teamster 2000?

ParticipantThanks Donn,
I am getting my harness stuff up and running. Old Landis #1 still runs like a top. I’m 69 and nothing I have for machinery was even made in my lifetime. Some of the HD farm stuff was but most predates me too.Mike Rock
ParticipantHi Donn,
A picture please? Just to make sure.Mike Rock

Guess I’d better get proactive. We have a MUDDY year here. Mild winter plus rains. To deep to get the Bobcat in to clean the yard so there’s a foot of hay, manure and mud over half an acre. Kept moving the bale feeding area to help. Everyone is tired of the mud, even our Mulefoot piggies. Three Haflingers, three Percherons and a lonely Belgian.

ParticipantShould have said, “too harsh for young vegetables’.

ParticipantNo, that is one thing that isn’t seen out here. At least I haven’t seen one in fifty years:(
It seems there would be a small market for them with market gardeners at least. Just like the old Dick Raymond, Joy of Gardening, hand version of the finger weeder, like a rake with super long tines. I’ve watched the Lely and just think it’s a bit too harsh, these were supposed to be more gentle from everything I’ve read.Mike Rock

ParticipantDoes anyone know where one of these spring tine weeders might be purchased?
Happy Easter.
Went to a three generation horse farm auction yesterday. Spent too much. Good stuff:))
