ParticipantI do all our fabricating and farm repair jobs.I have a 180 comet AC, LKS 250 AC/DC, Miller 400 amp DC with diesel engine portable and a Miller 250 Mig gas
welders along with all the regular welding shop tooling.
It is a very profitable and interesting hobby and there is some to do on the weathered in days.Barw
ParticipantSimon I’d be interested in a team of Brabants and I live in Canada.

ParticipantHi Jac nice fore cart very similar to the power cart I built.
I wish I was as handy with posting pic’s on the computor as you
folks. I use mostly steel poles just 3-4″ schedule 40 black pipe with
8-10″ in front of neck yoke.I weld a strap over the neck end of pole
so evener of front team will attach.Make all this equip myself cheap
way to get it done. Each piece of equip has its own pole.Barw
ParticipantHi Jac
My cart is sort-of like Lynn’s.It works well the hydraulic’s are live and the diesel
engine has lots of power and runs cheap and with a good muffler it isn’t that noisy.
Made the seat adjustable also.Plans are this summer to install a regular Rockford hand
clutch.I just made it with 540 pto.It has a regular tractor swinging draw bar that can
be pinned. When the snow melts off the forecart I’ll try to post some pic’s.Barw
ParticipantJac forgot to mention that I built the three wheel forecart my self with 40hp
Kubota engine, hydraulic’s and 540 pto.Once the snow is gone here and I figure out
this new digital camera and how to sent a photo, I’ll post some pic’s.Barw

Have 430 JD make 800 lbs. bales. Two Suffolk can pull it for a short day but 4 horses

ParticipantNice video Carl. We do the same on our farm only I have a brother-in-law that has a custom meat shop with all the equipment. It helps a great deal.

ParticipantI agree with Carl the detail is pleaseing to look at for us folks that work draft horses.
The pictures are great.Like to see what other teamsters use for equipment also.

ParticipantHighway
We made a set of downward bent shafts from 1.5″ pipe, look great and work fine.

ParticipantWe are in the same situation here too few teamsters to do things with.
The young generation just don’t seem to have an interest,we have to
get the interest up or the old ways will be lost.

ParticipantIron Rose you could put a pole on the go deveil to keep it from running
up on the horses.
