DRAFT ANIMAL TACK, EQUIPMENT OR FARM/FOREST ITEMS for Benefit Auction
Bring them to the Draft Animal-Power Field Days October 4, 5 & 6 at Shelburne Farms.
Help us celebrate all things “Draft Animal-power” together by participating in the 2019 Benefit Auction at this year’s Draft Animal-Power Field Days in Shelburne, VT. All proceeds from the auction will go toward future DAPNet events. Donations in good, safe condition can include but are not limited to: farming or forest equipment, harness/yoke or stable items, draft power related artwork and antiques, farm product baskets, baked goods, and services. Already donated items are a nice set of leather D-ring harness, Two large collars, Two small collars, Singer Fanning Mill (complete) $300 value, Cast iron stall dividers $300 value, Mc-D cultivator – complete with shields and shovels $500 value, and a membership from Rural Vermont.
Admission is free on Saturday if you bring a suitable auction item worth over $25 by 9am.
All donations will be sold by silent and live auction ending on Saturday evening, October 5th, 2019 from 5-7pm. You must be present to win, all items must be paid for and removed on Sunday. Note about camping and facilities: Overnight camping is available on the farm, but there is no access to electricity or water hook-ups. Porta-potties and hand washing station will be available. No dogs on site please.
